Hawk was recently elected as a National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) delegate for 2006 and 2007, along with fellow colleagues Tim Bastyr and John F. Letsinger.

Chuck "Hawk" Smessaert is the current 2005 Super Veteran, Sub-gauge Champion in Sporting Clays for the state of Georgia, adding to his long list of state championships. Congratulations!
